Collection:
Katsushika Hokusai
Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849) was a master of Japan's Edo period who worked restlessly across painting, illustration, and woodblock printmaking. The Great Wave off Kanagawa made him an international icon, but his full body of work—coastal scenes, wildlife, mythology, daily life—is far broader. His prints carry historical weight and an immediacy that still lands perfectly on a modern wall.
